Rachel waited years to get a buck kid out of Brita, and when he finally arrived, she couldn't have been happier! We love GCH Brita's tremendous general appearance, and feel you would be hard pressed to find a more correct doe anywhere. Since we had a great experience with our own GCH Hemingway daughter, GCH Becca's Tuscany, we also love being able to bring in something similar so many generations later. The cross with Livin' In Sin felt like the perfect combination of Brita's beautiful body and productive, capacious, well attached mammary systems.
Elysian himself has grown into a beautiful, balanced, and powerful yearling. His first kids born in 2020 were all extremely correct (even if we had a buck kid year across the herd), with long, level, wide rumps; sharp, clean withers; and escutcheons you could drive a freight train through. We're looking forward to using him again in 2021, hoping for a few more doe kids, as well as offering him for outside breedings this year.
