Due to some family changes and a new baby, we are significantly reducing the herd at this time. These will be the majority of our sales for 2020-2021, aside from new kids born in 2021. Each breed is listed on a separate page.

Bucks
This guy is very related to much of our herd, but was too nice for us to part with for quite some time. His dam, GCH RDR Samson's Charisma, was one of the fanciest does we've ever bred, a heavy producer, and a barn favorite. His littermate sister, SG RDR Chalupa's Chit Chat, is a Top Ten milker, easily earned her SG as a yearling, and is the dam of one of our current fancy, high production does, SG RDR Venchi Cha Cha. Charismatic does have large scurs, but he is easy to handle, easy to breed with, and good to be around.

GCH Star is a doe that we've loved and had for years. We gave her the year off in 2020, but she is ready to breed and clearly the boss in our "vacation" group this year. For someone looking for a proven foundation doe to start their herd, she would be an ideal fit. She's a doe who has traveled everywhere, taught 4-H kids at fitting clinics and showmanship practices, led pee-wee showman through their first Showmanship class, and is generally game for absolutely anything. With Rachel cutting back to so few does this year, its just time for her to put her mark on another herd, although she has a home here for life if we can't find the ideal spot for her.

Captivate is one of those does who just steals your heart. We AI'd her for 2020 and had a positive pregnancy test, but unfortunately she was open this year, so she's taking some time off as well. For someone looking for a proven foundation doe to start their herd, she would be an ideal fit. She's the sweetest, easiest doe to be around that we've ever had, is a joy to hand milk, kind to other goats but holds her own in the pen, is an easy keeper, and just generally a doe who goes with the flow and loves you through the process. Motif was the first place Recorded Grade junior yearling at the 2019 ADGA National Show. She was bred for February 2020 kids, but unfortunately didn't settle, and seemed to cycle every time we were on the road, so she is a dry two year old. She is also the last daughter out of SGCH RDR Tumult's Cadenza, and holds a special place in our heart. She's extremely correct and wasn't originally on our sales list, but if we're realistically cutting back as much as we possibly can in order to focus on family, we don't need to keep a Recorded Grade doe. That is the only reason she's currently being offered. We hope to find her a home that shows or appraises, and is on milk test.

Enchanted was my favorite kid in 2019, and is still one of my favorites. She's smooth, dairy, level, angular, clean boned, wide, upstanding, has a beautiful escutcheon... I could just keep going. She's also one of my pets since I've been loving and cuddling on her since she was a tiny baby. I'm still not sure why I have her listed for sale, so I guess in the name of keeping as few dairy goats as possible... Here is someone's opportunity to add a pretty special doe to their herd.

Haze is an extremely stylish dry yearling who has grown out very well. She's a barn favorite, loves kisses, and has an escutcheon and topline that you can't help but admire on a daily basis. The first fresh daughter by her sire, Humboldt, has a tremendously wide rear udder attachment and a mammary system that is just socked on. I would love to keep her and freshen her in 2021, but I just can't keep them all.

This February born kid was our first LaMancha doe kid born this year, and our first Elysian kid. She's beautifully balanced, wide, level, open in the escutcheon, and has beautiful feet and legs. She's a very balanced, very nice doe kid, who would have been a keeper in a year I didn't have my own baby coming. Her dam, Cecilia, freshened with a very similar mammary system to Captivate, who is pictured. We sold Cecilia a few weeks after kidding, and do not have updated pictures of her.
