Single Lady was Rachel's favorite kid and favorite dry yearling from her age group. She kidded this year with a gorgeous pair of perfect golden doe kids that looked like her mini-me's, and as they've grown, one looks just like Lady's kid picture, while the other is taking after her sire.
More importantly... this mammary system. This doe milks, just like all of the others in her dam line. But her fore udder... full or empty... it just keeps going. We haven't had a fore udder like hers before. I didn't do this doe much justice with her picture this year - I think she epitomizes "tense" in it - but she's such a well balanced doe that it kills me to be getting out of dairy goats just as we're freshening ones like her. |
